supervision for Teachers
of mindfulness

Picture
I offer mindfulness-based supervision for teachers of mindfulness to adults or young people.

In February 2016 I trained with the Bangor University Centre for Mindfulness to be able to offer mindfulness-based supervision, and since then I have supervised a number of teachers on an ongoing basis.

I am also a member of the Mindfulness Peer Supervision Group. I meet monthly with other supervisors to strengthen our skills and explore the Mindfulness Supervision Model.

Teaching mindfulness can be both immensely rewarding and highly challenging. As teachers our own mindful awareness is the basis for our teaching and there can be tricky moments in relationship to individual participants, or groups, or our own internal dynamics, or all of the above! We may also benefit from support in areas such as the curriculum, or guiding practices, or with our own practice.

As a result it can extremely helpful to have a safe, open and mindfulness-based space to dialogue with a supervisor. The mindfulness-based nature of supervision also serves to deepen one's own practice and understanding.

You can read more about mindfulness supervision here and get in touch if you'd like to discuss being supervised.
